Fresh from the Good Food Awards ceremony, welcome the two newest winners to our lineup: Amparo Pajoy and Little Buddy! The Good Food Awards recognize products for flavor, sustainability, and social responsibility. And they honor food and beverages that are crushing it on all counts.

  Before January 1st, back in November of 2012 it was announced that we were Roast Magazine’s 2013 Micro Roaster of the Year. Naturally, we celebrated by throwing a huge party at our roastery on the November 15th our 7 anniversary of being in business. Our party was covered by the Weekly Volcano, and featured excellent coffee, organic beer, tamales and live music by Lazer Zeppelin and The Maxines. Our Ethiopia Konga Yirgacheffe has won a spot as one of 20 coffees out of over 1,450 coffees. Our Konga Yirgacheffe Cooperative entry has met all the responsible production criteria in addition to being a top scorer at the Blind Tasting amongst a pool of 1,450 entries.
